Lauren Pelletier

Lauren focuses her practice on real estate transactions, title analysis, and pre-litigation collection matters for homeowners and condominium associations throughout Oregon and Washington. With more than ten years of legal experience, she assists clients and attorneys with transactions involving a wide range of property types, including commercial and residential properties, agricultural and rural land, and vacant or undeveloped parcels. She regularly collaborates with lenders, title companies, and other parties on matters ranging from routine conveyances to complex title and ownership issues.

Lauren particularly enjoys the analytical side of her practice, including reviewing title reports and legal descriptions, tracing chains of title, and helping develop solutions to challenging title matters. Her familiarity with recording requirements and practices across numerous jurisdictions allows her to provide proactive support that helps clients complete complex transactions efficiently and with confidence.

Lauren also has significant experience with document management, electronic databases, and data room organization. Notably, she was responsible for database and document management in connection with the Portland Harbor Superfund Site, one of the largest and most complex river sediment remediation projects in the country.

Lauren supports a broad range of real estate and business matters, assisting attorneys and clients with transactions from initial due diligence through closing and post-closing administration. Her work includes drafting and recording deeds and other conveyance documents, researching ownership and title matters, reviewing title reports and surveys, interpreting and plotting legal descriptions, and coordinating with title companies and lenders throughout the transaction process. She also assists with secured financing transactions, entity formations and ownership structuring, and homeowner and condominium association assessment and collection matters.

Outside of work, Lauren is kept wonderfully busy by her husband and their three boys. Whether they are paddleboarding, hiking, camping, or visiting family, time outdoors with the people she loves is what recharges her the most.

Lauren began her legal career at a boutique law firm in Colorado, where she worked on a diverse range of matters involving business and transactional law, estate planning, and probate administration. The Colorado firm's broad practice provided her with hands-on experience across multiple disciplines, allowing her to develop an understanding of the legal profession and the diverse needs of clients.
