Nick Lumley focuses mainly on general business and real estate law. For business clients, Nick provides advice regarding business formation, contracts, intellectual property, and the purchase and sale of business entities across a variety of industries including agriculture and agribusiness, restaurants and wineries, manufacturing, construction, education, financial services, health care, and storage. For real estate clients, Nick assist clients with the leasing, acquisition, and sale of residential, commercial, and industrial properties, and consults on land use issues.

Prior to joining Black Helterline, Nick worked in insurance defense and business law in Tampa, Florida, and business and real estate law in Salem, Oregon. During his studies at the University of Oregon School of Law, he worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael McShane of the United States District Court.

In his spare time, Nick is an avid sports fan and an Oregon Ducks football season ticket holder. He also enjoys exploring every nook and cranny of Oregon and is close to completing his goal of traveling through all 50 states.
