Josh knows Oregon and the Pacific Northwest well. After growing up in Eugene, Josh attended college in Portland, and then went to law school in Salem before returning to Portland where he has lived, raised a family, and practiced law ever since.

CIVIL LITIGATION

Josh has more than 20 years of experience litigating cases in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington, representing businesses and individuals in the areas of contract claims, business ownership disputes, product liability, licensing and distribution agreements, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, employment law, and commercial real estate.

In addition to taking cases to trial, Josh regularly works with clients to identify and avoid potential legal troubles before problems arise. In every case, Josh’s focus is on understanding his client’s goals early-on in the process, and to develop a strategy to effectively achieve those goals through risk management and mitigation counseling, skilled negotiation and dispute resolution, and whenever necessary, through comprehensive litigation.
