Jessica’s practice focuses on estate planning and administration, which includes charitable planning, business planning, and federal and state transfer tax planning.
Jessica is experienced in assisting clients with basic estate planning tools including Wills and revocable trusts as well as tax planning techniques including strategic gifts, insurance trusts, split-interest charitable trusts and grantor retained annuity trusts. Jessica assists clients in the estate administration process including probate, trust administration and estate tax return preparation. Jessica also advises trustees and trust beneficiaries in trust administration matters.
Jessica frequently speaks on topics related to estate planning and the estate tax. She an active member of the Oregon State Bar and the Portland Estate Planning Council. Jessica is involved with leadership of the ABA Real Property Trust and Estate Law Section and is currently an Acquisitions Editor for the Real Property, Trust and Estate Journal.
