IMMIGRATION
David represents a variety of individuals and corporations before the Department of Homeland Security’s Citizenship and Immigration Services, the United States Department of Labor, state workforce agencies, United States Embassies and Consular offices, immigration judges, the Board of Immigration Appeals and other agencies.
David has obtained numerous B, E, F, H, J, K, L, O, P and U
non-immigrant visas, PERM labor certifications, J waivers, immigrant visas and other benefits for employers, employees and individuals. He also handles family-based immigration, naturalization cases, DACA and VAWA applications and asylum claims.
PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
As an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”), David has held leadership positions on the National Board of Governors, as Chairman of the Oregon AILA Chapter, on the Nebraska Service Center Liaison Committee, on the Annual Conference Business Immigration Committee, and has been a frequent speaker at AILA regional and national conferences. He is also a member of the Multnomah Bar Association, the World Affairs Council, Oregon Historical Society, Northwest China Council, the Japan-America Society of Oregon and the United States Tennis Association. David is a native Oregonian and has practiced for more than 25 years in Portland and in the Territory of Guam, specializing in business and family immigration.
